⚫ About 60 deaths off #Libya
A boat with reportedly 74 people capsized off #Tobruk. Alarm Phone was not in contact with this boat.
Nothing about this is "tragic". It is the direct consequences of Europe's border regime that has turned the Mediterranean into a graveyard.
UNHCR is deeply saddened by a second tragic boat incident off Tobruk on 13 September where a vessel carrying 74 people Mostly Sudanese refugees capsized.
Only 13 people survived & dozens remain missing.
